Today daddy turned Gully's car seat around to be front-facing. What an exciting new phase! Gully appreciated being treated like a grown-up for a change. ;)

Every meal Gully just loves to eat watermelon, paw paw, kiwi fruit, apple, or any other fruit you can put in front of him. He used to eat a little bit like the cookie monster, but each day more goes in as he learns to chew.

Afternoon adventures

I love afternoon adventure time. Today we headed off along past the high school kids as they left school, got a yummy roll from the Vietnamese baker, sat in the park and enjoyed some milky-afternoon tea, chatted to the nice Italian man at the Italian bakery and bought some treats for Morgan and a hot choccie for mumma and then managed to whizz down a side alley and find a secret park surrounded by tall trees hidden behind a lot of buildings!

 I decided to try Gully on the swing. He had a great time and even managed to use his legs to kick in some extra momentum!

Yesterday Gully and I were mucking around on the verandah and I was holding him up against the chair to play. But, then I thought, why not try removing some of the support. So, I made sure his feet were spaced and slowly moved away. The little fella can stand all by himself! :)

Learning to crawl

Every day Gully gets a little closer to learning to crawl. Today he managed to crawl backwards for a little bit!

On Friday night I booked a 'mystery' night on the Sunshine coast and took Morgan and Gully off for a little adventure. Gully was incredibly patient on the car ride and thoroughly enjoyed the luxury accommodation. Here he is with his 'youngest Conroy' giraffe and his current favourite activity--ripping up paper.

Gully really took to solids this week and gained 400g, 9.8kg. He's sitting by himself and absolutely rocking the Jolly Jumper. What an exciting time it is.
